Horst Jabs (git/voc) – has changed within 20 years RDs from a heavy rock shouter to a veritable songwriter and today impresses his audience by performing his songs intensively.

Thomas Weick (lead git) – has etablished himself in the first league of the South German solo guitarists due to his song-convenient and technically perfect guitar play. He started his handcraft as co-founder of the Prog Rock Band „The Formula“ in the 80s. Since 2001, he has been guitarist of the RDs (first album: „Modern Rome“).

Georg Grimm (bass) – is a rocker of the first generation in Germany and in the early 60s, he established his reputation. He worked together with Tony Sheridan, not only at the Reeperbahn in Hamburg. In his long career, he played with another outstanding artists like Albert Lee, Joe South, Chris Farlowe, Emmylou Harris, Christine Albert... Since 2001, he has been bassist of the RDs (first album: „Modern Rome“).

Andreas Maucher has accompanied the band as sound engineer/roadie for many years. In his home studio, he produced a couple of songs from the album „Two Of A Kind“ (1998).

Founded in 1991 by Neal Thomson (London – vocals, drums) and Horst Jabs (Munich – vocals, guitar) as pub band – first studio recordings at the end of 1991 in Ludgershall near to Oxford (heavy rock/punk) – first acoustic EP in 1992 at Timeless Studio, Upper Heyford – changing lineups in the second half of the 90s (EP „Drunklands“ – 1996) – live shows especially in UK – first complete CD release (album length) 1998 with „Two Of A Kind“ – changeover to steady lineup after finishing the album „Modern Rome“ (2001 – hard rock – for the first time with Georg Grimm on bass and Thomas Weick on solo guitar) – first moderate commercial success with the album „Dark Actors Playing Games“ (2003 – heavy rock) – after a tour in Cornwall in 2004, band founder Thomson left the band due to musical differences – from 2005 to 2007, the RDs worked with two lineups: heavy rock with drums and first concerts as acoustic trio in the present lineup – support acts for Albert Lee & Hogan's Heroes.

By working together with the legendary British guitar heroe and multiple Grammy winner Albert Lee (album „Pukka Blokes“ 2006), the band could finally call their attention to an international musical audience.

Since the recordings for the new album „131“ in 2009, the RDs present themselves in a variable lineup as trio or quartet with the pianist/singer Lisa Nicola. The new release (recorded at Twilight Sound Studio by Lutz Demmler) contains the already mentioned CD as well as the first live DVD of the band.
